CS144 HIGH AMPERAGE/ HEAVY-DUTY ALTERNATOR/ CHARGING SYSTEM

The CS144 large-case alternator fits GMs and Hummers. It comes in two different output levels: 190 amps (welding or charging) and 210 amps (charging system/ alternator only).

Premier Power Welder now has several new models to accommodate even more vehicle applications without the need for cumbersome bracketry. Outputs range from 160 to 210 amps across the line-up. Premier's CS144 can be used as a charging system (190- and 210-amp models) or for our welding unit (190-amp model only). The 210-amp alternator has an 18-month warranty; all other units, welding systems or alternators, come with a standard 12-month factory warranty.

The premier CS144 has an external regulator, which will not only help the overall performance of the alternator but extend the life of the regulator by keeping it out of the high heat of the alternator. The rectifier bridge has heavier-amperage diodes than standard OEM alternators, which gives it a longer life. The stator is hand-wound with 12-gauge wire.

The bearings used are certified for high RPM and heat, and have dual-greased seals. The rotor is balanced on a dual-planed balancer, which will enhance the life of the bearings. The slip-rings are polished to a mirror finish to extend the brush life.

Premier's CS144 is a GM large-case unit that will also fit Hummers. This alternator has more amperage at low-end and high-end than standard OEM alternators.
